Description: | This session will introduce new, fresh perspectives on creating student centered learning activities that develop higher level cognitive skills through juxtaposing information from different sources to reveal new relationships. We will explore innovative uses of images, audio editing and podcasting applications to help students think critically about issues, themes and concepts to generate their own ideas. No expensive software or special hardware is needed. Come with an open mind and be prepared to have fun. This hands-on workshop will be facilitated by special guest, Dr. Chris Shamburg.
